Chicago Woman Shoots BB Gun 14 Year Old Robber, Police Arrested her for Carrying Without a Permit

Araceli Diaz decided to sell an item to a 14 year old girl who wanted to rob her with a pellet gun. She hit her over the head and tried to get the item from the woman. Quick thinking woman pulled out a real firearm and shot the hoodlum brat in the chest.

Diaz has a valid Illinois Firearms Owner ID card for her gun, but doesn’t have a carry permit. It's not allowed in Chicago so Diaz faces a felony count of aggravated unlawful use of a loaded weapon, and the 14-year-old girl who was seriously wounded in the shooting faces a felony count of attempted robbery with a firearm. Her name was withheld because she’s a minor.
