Michelle Obama defends her friendship with George W. Bush

I'm not a fan of the former lady. I disagree with the former first lady on just about everything. However I have to agree with her here. I grew up in a world where you can have friends who are different as night and day. It didn't matter as long as you had the same values and love for each other nothing else mattered. In an interview on Today's show she said, 'Our values are the same. We disagree on policy, but we don't disagree on humanity. We don't disagree about love and compassion,' she said. 'I think that's true for all of us. It's just that we get lost in our fear of what's different.'
