Pawsafe Animal Rescue Testimonial

June 7,2019 I was devastated because a different animal rescue had approved my adoption for a yellow lab puppy only for them to tell me he's no longer available for adoption. why tell me i'm approved for a puppy that was already adopted. I was so disgusted that i decided to find a different organization. I looked on Petfinder app and saw Chip. i always wanted a chocolate lab. I went ahead and filled out the paperwork to my surprise I was invited to meet Chip that weekend. i was so excited. I woke up late on Saturday and had no choice but to go on Sunday. My hopes were low. I felt Chip would've been adopted on Saturday. Sunday morning i make my way to Connecticut mentally preparing myself to not expect to adopt Chip.

I was the first one in line to look at the rescue animals. I told the greeters that i was there to look at the chocolate lab puppies. The first puppies I saw were border collies. I came very close to adopting one, but I kept thinking about Chip. We kept walking and I saw the chocolate puppies I was told Chip was still available. All of the chocolate lab puppies were happy to see me except chip. he was sleepy and wanted nothing to do with me. Being somewhat ant-social I was that much more interested in Chip.

He's a very energetic happy pup. New kitchen floor and electronics destroyed, opening my door and chewing everything in sight. He is part of my family now and we have an unbreakable bond. This was my first time adopting a pet. The process was smooth and professional. I encourage you to adopt or donate to help feed the rescue animals.
